What is USDC?

USDC is an Ethereum-based stablecoin fully backed by the United States dollar. As opposed to usual cryptocurrencies, stablecoins such as USDC have no volatility. Each USDC is worth one dollar. This stablecoin is managed by a consortium called Centre.
